Entertainment at home during quarantine
So we can only go out once a day for exercise and everything is closed so what to do now? The good news is there are lots of events which are now taking place online and you can enjoy in your home (FOR FREE!)
1. National Theatre at Home
Every Thursday The National Theatre is streaming a different play online for free on their YouTube channel. They are screening on Thursdays at 7 pm and will be there for a week after. The first was One Man Two Governors (be quick if you want to see it) they also have Jane Eyre, Treasure Island and Twelfth Night in the line-up. More information can be found here.
2. Online Quizzes
The Pen & Pencil will be taking their pub quiz and putting it online for us all to try at home. It takes place every Tuesday at 7 pm and is free, all you need to do is head over to their Instagram page for more information.
3. Feel Good Club Live TV
On Sundays wearefeelgoodclub is going live on their Instagram page with Self Care Sunday, they will be live this Sunday at 9 am-12 pm. The lineup TBC. Also, give them a follow on Instagram to add some positivity to your feed.
4. MCR Finest - Positive News
Mondays at 7 pm you will find a round-up of positive news, hosted by the lovely ladies behind Feel Good Club
Also, give MCR finest a follow if you don't to keep you updated with what is going on in Manchester.
5. Houseparty
Have you downloaded this yet? Its a group video chat to help you and your friends be together when you're not together.
6. Online Bingo
Every Wednesday at 8 pm Jules Von Hep & Sarah Powell host Bingo on Instagram, click here for all the details.
7. PE with Joe Wicks
So technically this is for the children, but we've heard its a good workout for the adults too, give it a go here.
8. Hero Training Gym live workouts
Another workout option, head to Hero to find out more. They have different classes at different times and days of the week.
